Hey y’all! It’s Thursday and I’m gearing up for a weekend of fun with family and friends. We’re planning on hitting brunch and Kitchen 713 is at the top of the list. This restaurant has changed since the last time I dined in. It was previously located east of downtown and was tucked away in an intimate cafe with limited hours. Now, this once hidden gem is on Washington Ave and features a combination of Southern and Asian cuisine. Oh, and it’s become a local hotspot for happy hour and brunch!
My friends and I dined on some of the best small plates like avocado toast, grilled oysters, and small pancakes with shaved salmon on top. It was so delicious and every bite was a little taste of heaven! The atmosphere at Kitchen713 is amazing and it’s the perfect arena for a get-together.
My main entree was the Thai Jewel Omelette with shrimp, lump crab, and mushrooms. I’m not a big fan of eggs but I devoured this dish. I’m itching to go back to sit on the patio and dine on shrimp & grits. Each item on the menu is packed with flavor and ideal for sharing. So call your squad and get them out for Sunday brunch!
